Poison Spyder Customs
Thanks to Shane for inviting us to post up here!
Many of you already recognize the Poison Spyder name. For those who don't, we manufacture body armor, bumpers, stingers, tube fenders, rocker panel and corner protection, and other suspension and drivetrain components for most Jeep vehicles. Poison Spyder was bought at the first of this year by Larry and Cheri McRae, and moved to Southern California. Since then we've been working hard to rebuild the Poison Spyder product line and re-establish our customer base and dealer network. We have a lot of friends and acquaintances in Texas so we're glad to be able to participate in your forum.
Please visit our website at www.poisonspyder.com.
The new Poison Spyder offers many of the same great, legendary Poison Spyder products, which are now mostly in full production, with more products being added weekly. We primarily focus on body armor and other hardcore trail upgrades for Jeeps, including:
We focus primarily on parts for Jeep CJ, TJ, YJ, LJ and we have a growing line of hard-core upgrades for both 2-Door and 4-Door JK.
We'll post up here with more specific product info and new product announcements. But we wanted to begin with a "Hello" and invite you all to check out our website at www.poisonspyder.com.

Re: Poison Spyder Customs
So how long till the Stinger Bumper lines will start up again? Waiting on one of those for my YJ. Also kinda waiting for a Dana 60 Bombshell cover. Has there been enough interest in the 44 cover to warrant expanding to other axles?

Re: Poison Spyder Customs
I know it's probably asking a lot, but is Poison Spyder going to remain a Wrangler-centric company, or are they going to expand to include the other (XJ, MJ, ZJ, etc) Jeeps?? Y'all got some SICK stuff, but not for my vehicle.

Ben, Stingers are in production. Give Brent a call at the shop and he can five you the latest info but I believe we should have trail stingers ready to ship by sometime next week. D60 and D30 Bombshells are already in the works and should be ready in time to be great stocking stuffers.

Re: Poison Spyder Customs
Zuki, we'd love to have you back as a dealer, but you'll need to re-apply. The old dealer network dissolved with the old Poison Spyder and we started over from scratch. Its a fairly simple process though, just drop Larry an email at larry@poisonspyder.com and he can send you out a Dealer Package that outlines our Athorized Dealer Program, application, etc.

Black, you're right, Poison Spyder has historically focused on the CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, etc, and in the short term we're focused primarily on rebuilding that product line. Where we go from there, I can't really say as I'm not sure what Larry has in mind for the long term, but the Poison Spyder brand will likely continue to be associated with the Wrangler/Rubicon Jeeps. But my gut feeling is that we will be looking at the XJ/ZJ market soon. Whether it will be as an expansion of the Poison Spyder product line or some other tangent product line we get into I can't say, but I think we'll probably be into that market at some point.
