any idea what its from? i cant tell from the pics and its to late to call the guy right now. and if its full width even better cause i know of a cheap 8.8 to go with it Very Happy

If this thing has drums (like the ad says), I don't think it would be worth the $100. It would cost way more to covert everything you need then it would be to just buy the right axle to begin with. And if it has drums is is an older axle, and is going to need all new seals and bearings and all. But thats just my $0.02.

it is from a 66-77 Bronco, thats what that 4.09 ratio was stock in i think.

good to know. any idea if its the same width as the rear from an 89 bronco? add says its an 8.8 but have heard that they have a 9"

9 in looks correct to me. Lots of info at www.broncograveyard.com on those particular axles. 100 bones for just the housing and carrier is a great deal..........
